With interest rates at a 6 month low and prices leveling off, now is a great time to buy. Beat the spring rush and buy now.

I have noticed that with the Maryland market cooling off, the problems we were having with out of town mortgage lenders seems to be cooling off as well. Is this just me or has anyone else noticed this trend? Don't get me wrong I still feel very strongly about using a York County lender but all the problems with the out of town lenders seems to have decreased.
I think the buyers will start taking advantage of the very low interest rates. I can't see the house prices dropping much further if at all. If the rates begin to go up they will have a much larger impact on higher monthly payments than a few thousand dollars on a house price!

If this is supposed to be a slow time for real estate someone forgot to tell me. There are still a lot of buyers looking for homes at this point. I think with the lower interest rates and a higher inventory of homes available that the buyer is in a great position.
