I'm glad you brought that up Jamie, I get tired of hearing that stuff all over the news.
I did hear a saying, "Real Estate is like the weather, not the same everywhere"
I still think our local market is doing pretty well overall. I think most of the problems are in other areas, but the media gives everyone the idea that there are problems nationwide.
Whether buying or selling a home, give yourself the competitive advantage and confidence in working with Real Estate Professionals you can trust to help you find your way home....call The Pilgrim Team! Your York PA Real Estate Specialists.

My first Blog ever!!
Well, this is interesting, to able to provide valuable information to customers and friends in a more informal way. It could be fun, I think. I am looking forward to it. Our site is really looking good too. Our Pilgrim Team Truck is just fabulous, everyone loves it. Now I want the same type of advertisement in a new little "smart car" that I saw on TV over the weekend. Hmmm, let's ask Jerry! (Ha Ha)

Home Staging & Staging Your Home
Home staging is about illusions. It's probably how David Copperfield would sell a house. It's beyond decorating and cleaning. It's about perfecting the art of creating moods. Staging makes your house look bigger, brighter, cleaner, warmer, more loving and, best of all, it makes home buyers want to buy it.
Contrary to what you might think, it's about more than preparing the house for sale. Staging is what you do after you've cleaned, decluttered, painted, made minor repairs; it's all about dressing the house for sale.
It's about adding the small details: the lipstick, mascara and, for simplicity, a stunning, single strand of Tahitian pearls.
Many people who are looking at a home as prospective buyers, cannot see a "vision" of what a house might look like when the sellers personal items are removed. They see what is actually there - not beyond. By staging your home, you will make it look more appealing to the buyer.
You can research many ways to stage your home yourself or, alternatively, you may wish to acquire the services of a professional stager.
Whatever you choose to do, by making your home cleaner, fresher and more presentable, you will increase the speed at which your home will sell by staging it properly!
